with earthy, red cherries and hints of tobacco. Medium-bodied with ample fruit on the palate and excellent structure. One of the famous wine-producing regions of Tuscany. Chianti wines can be made from any number of clones of Sangiovese, and likewise the wines embrace a wide range of flavors and aromatic profiles. Young, fresh Chianti can offer notes of raspberry and sage on the nose and an almost ephemeral mouth, supported by a slightly astringent acidity.

LAND: of alluvial origin, calcareous in nature, fine texture
HARVEST: manual in box with selection in the vineyard
WINE-MAKING: without the use of selected yeasts, pumping over and delestage, maceration for 25 days.
MATURATION: in large barrels from 10 to 35 hl for 24 months
REFINING: glass
NOTES: All the vineyards have been in conversion since the 2007 harvest but were previously cultivated with the organic method.
